Reducing methane is urgent for ensuring climate protection and clean air. The biggest share of emissions in the EU comes from the agricultural sector (55%). However, the EU lacks an appropriate legislative framework to address agricultural methane emissions.
In our final conference of the Clean Air Farming Project, Deutsche Umwelthilfe (DUH) and European Environmental Bureau (EEB) provide a platform to discuss:
- Which “Windows of Opportunity” can the EU use to set a methane reduction framework for the agricultural sector?
We invite you to discuss this this important issue with representatives from EU politics, the agricultural sector, science and NGOs.
